Browser extension
Site intelligence in the tab you are already looking at
Open the extension on any site to see what our own crawl found: authority, pages, referring domains, technology, and an estimated traffic range with its confidence — or an honest “not yet available” when our data does not support a number. All of that works with measurement switched off.
The measurement panel is a separate, explicit choice
Nothing about your browsing is collected unless you press Join. Joining asks for the extra browser permission at that exact moment, and leaving hands it back. Pause stops collection immediately, and deleting removes the observations still linked to your current pseudonym.
If you join, we receive
| Destination domain | example.com | Which sites the panel reaches |
| Source domain | google.com | How people arrive at sites |
| Navigation type | search, social, referral, direct | Coarse channel mix |
| Hour bucket | 18 Sep 2026, 04:00 UTC | Trends over time |
| Coarse country | DE | Regional coverage |
| Device and browser class | desktop / chrome | Panel composition |
| Rotating pseudonym | changes every 7 days | Count people without identifying them |
Never collected
- — Full addresses, paths, query strings, page titles or page content
- — Form data, passwords, messages, email, banking or health pages
- — Any address that looks private or signed-in — refused inside your browser before anything is sent
- — Any permanent identifier, cookie or advertising ID
How panel data is used, and how it is not
Panel numbers are published only when a domain has at least 25 separate participants and 50 observations behind it. Below that we publish nothing at all, so a thin sample can never point at an individual.
Panel reach is shown as a relative signal — a share of the panel — never multiplied into a confident visitor total. Turning a small, self-selected panel into a national number without calibration is how traffic estimates get a bad name, so we refuse to do it.
The extension is built and its source lives in our repository. It has not been submitted to the Chrome Web Store yet — publishing requires the account owner’s approval.
